On March 13, the 95th Academy Awards were held in the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Famous actors from all over the world came together, hoping to receive an Oscar for their work. So naturally, this meant that also the outfits on the red carpet were stunning. Besides the Oscar winners, we can also state that there were winners in their fashion performances at this event. So, to inspire you for your next event, we, as The Makers, picked out a few outfits from the Oscars to assist with this.
First off is the star of Creed III, which just has been released in the cinemas. Michael B. Jordan showed up in a perfectly tailored Louis Vuitton black tie. The elegance of the traditional smoking with a silk lapel was contradicted by the bold and striking jewelry of Tiffany & Co. pinned on the lapel.
Second up is Austin Butler, whom you might know as Elvis Presley from the movie “Elvis”. The “new Elvis” showed up in a traditional smoking from Saint Laurent which exuded style. To give his outfit a twist, he replaced classic smoking shoes with shiny boots with a heel.
Last but not least, Paul Mescal stunned everyone with his outfit. Although he did not win an Oscar, we can all agree that he won the prize for the best-dressed guy of the evening. With reference to the old Hollywood style, Paul showed up in a white double-breasted smoking jacket with a wide black trouser from Gucci. His outfit displays more daring styling trends and boxy and oversized shapes for jackets and trousers.
