In the wake of a devastating earthquake that struck Morocco, communities around the world are coming together to offer their support to those affected. The earthquake, which had its epicenter in Morocco, has left a trail of destruction.

The earthquake’s aftermath has been devastating, The Makers Group / Paveco want to help where help is most needed.

Thanks to the great initiative of Afafe de Haan-Oubaibra and Hayat El Barouti from the association Al Rahma we feel we can combine our collective efforts to make a real difference for the people in the 5 villages.

They have been in the areas effected and have selected five villages in dire need of assistance. These villages are situated in two provinces:

  1. Provincial Azilal:
    • Toufghine
    • Taghroute
  2. Provincial El Houze:
    • Ait el Haj
    • Dar Al’Askar
    • Taghbart

In total, these villages are home to 86 families comprising 381 individuals. These communities are at the forefront of our efforts to provide relief and support during these challenging times.

In the face of such adversity, channeling our help effectively is crucial. The first step in this direction is establishing a clear path to aid those in need.

  1. QR Code Donations: To streamline the donation process, a QR code has been created, allowing people worldwide to contribute to the relief efforts. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, plays a vital role in helping these communities rebuild their lives.

Every penny will be spent directly towards helping these people and we will report on how it will be spent.

  1. Winter Clothing Donations: In addition, we recognize the importance of providing practical assistance. Winter clothing, including jackets and waterproof gear, is essential as the colder months approach. Donating warm clothing items can make a significant impact on the well-being of those affected by the earthquake.

If you have samples, obsolete stock, or small rejects please contact: cust.backoffice@themakers.nl

Now, it’s our turn to step up and extend a helping hand. The earthquake may have shaken these villages but has not broken their spirit. Together, we can help them rebuild, recover, and regain their sense of security.

We invite you to join us in this endeavor by scanning the QR code or contacting us for winter cloth donations.
